First you have to decide what you want to do photography for, are it for a serious hobby or for serious matter or just for simply a memory that you want to kept.

For a serious person in photography, it is the best that you choose SLR or specifically a single lens reflex camera. The difference between a SLR camera and an average point & shoot one is that the former allows the photographer to adjust the aperture as well as the camera’s shutter speed. It may hardly difficult to take the picture, but if you could be more patient it’s satisfying and you can create the pictures like you want it.

Waiting for your baby can be a great moment for you and your husband, or even all your family. After you know that you are pregnant, you will need to wait for 9 months until your baby born. And that moment is one of your best moments in your life. So, you have to prepare a camera or hire photographer so when the baby born, you can have the photograph, a beautiful moment that you can recall later in the future.

That kind of photography is called as newborn photography. Give birth for your baby is a moment that you will show to the baby when he or she has grown up. They will understand that the start of his or her life comes from you. Your child will love you more and more because of your hard effort of giving them a life.

You can not ask your husband to take the photograph, you can ask somebody else or special photographer that can do the job. You want to get beautiful and natural pictures of your special moment. So, do not ever give this very important job to someone who is not expert in this field. Make sure you will get what you want.
